After your Alliance Bank accounts are automatically added, it is easy to bring your complete financial picture into focus.
How To Get The Most Out of myMoneyView
When on the Dashboard of myMoneyView, the first page you come to, you'll see ALL your transactions across ALL your accounts!!! This is definitely something you won't be used to! Help myMoneyView categorize your spending to provide an accurate picture of your monthly spending habits. Simply click anywhere on a transaction and follow the easy on screen prompt to "Tag", or categorize, your transactions.
You can manage what you see on your Dashboard, and throughout myMoneyView, by clicking Edit Accounts at the bottom of your Account List that appears on the left.
Add An Account
You can keep tabs on all of your accounts with myMoneyView…even those outside of Alliance Bank. Adding these accounts will help provide you with the complete financial picture you're looking for. Best of all, it is easy and secure to do with myMoneyView.
On the Dashboard page of myMoneyView, click on the “Add” button at the top of the left hand column.
Tip: You can add most any account you can access online that requires a username and password. Have those handy as you add accounts. If you don't have a username and password for a particular account, you'll need to create one prior to adding the account to myMoneyView.
Select the financial institution by clicking its logo or searching by name or URL.
Tip: Alliance Bank Credit Cards are not automatically added to myMoneyView. To add it, simply Search mycardstatement in the URL box on the Add an Account page to get you started.
Enter your account credentials and myMoneyView will display transaction and account balance information for any accounts you have with that institution.
Repeat with all of your financial institutions to complete your financial picture.
Create a Goal
Picture a goal…then use myMoneyView to make it a reality. Whether you want to pay down debt or save towards a special purchase, myMoneyView makes it easy to set goals and track your progress.
Click on the “Goals” tab and click “Add a Goal”. Then choose the type of goal you want to create.
Fill in the fields to name your goal and set up the specifics of the goal.
Repeat for all of your financial goals.
Set a Spending Target (this is the Budget section!)
The real power of myMoneyView is in its ability to help you track and manage your finances by setting and monitoring spending targets.
Click on the “Budget” tab in myMoneyView and then click “Add a New Spending Target” to get started.
Complete the fields to pick the tags you want to track for the target, name the target, set a monthly limit, and track the accounts that will count towards the target.
Repeat for other spending categories – some of the most common expenses to track are groceries, transportation, and dining out.
Cash Flow Calendar
Add your income and regular expenses (bills) to the Cash Flow Calendar. See where things might get tight during the month, and make changes to improve your financial picture.
myMoneyView offers a current view of your net worth, making it easy to see your complete financial snapshot with just a click of the mouse. Add Assets and Liabilities such as the value of your Home and Household Goods, cars, etc., or things like owing your brother $800!
Now that you have been introduced to myMoneyView, log in to Online Banking and click on the myMoneyView tab to get started today!
